WHAT TO BRING FISHING IN THE FLORIDA KEYS

Snook, Tarpon, Trout, Redfish, Permit, Bonefish and Shark fishing!

YOUR PERSONAL NEEDS:

Capt. Mitch will provide you with a cooler full of ice, fishing licenses, and all the necessary equipment needed for a day on the water.  He also will supply plenty of nice rods and reels and bait.

The South Florida sun can be brutal, so make sure you bring:

  • Sun block
  • Hat
  • Long sleeve shirt

You will also need:

  • Polarized sunglasses (to sight-see the fish through the water glare)
  • Comfortable shoes, but please don't wear black soled shoes that will mark the deck of the boat
  • Camera
  • Any special needs items, medication etc..
  • Fishing aboard the Reel Chaos tends to be action packed, you will want to refuel your own tank, so please bring Your own food and drinks

Do not bring bananas!!

No bananas please!Captain Mitch isn't normally a superstitious man, but he does ask that you leave your bananas at home. Bananas aboard a fishing boat means that the fish won't bite.

He considers them contraband aboard the Reel Chaos!

As do many of his fellow guides, Capt. Mitch promotes what he likes to call “CPR” fishing.  What this means is that we Catch, Photograph, and Release the fish back into the water, so please bring your camera.

Call today to book your charter.   (305) 587-1150
