Mitchell was born in Key West, Florida.  As a child, the sounds of the ocean waves lulled him to sleep every night and were the first sounds he heard every morning.  He spent his youth running up and down the Florida Keys in his little Boston Whaler, fishing for lobster, redfish, snook, trout, bonefish, snapper, tarpon, you name it!

With over 30 years of experience captaining boats from 86+ foot pleasure yachts, to fast paced Deep Sea Marlin & Sailfish tournaments sports fishers, you can be assured that you are getting a captain with experience, knowledge and charisma.   Your time fishing in the Florida Keys backcountry will be filled with enjoyment and excitement in seeing the kind of  fish that takes your breath away.
